Virtual Try-On

Virtual try-on puts your product on the model in a video — pick the scene, add product photos, and the garment is worn through every frame. What it needs.

One real prompt and the result it produced on Molyin. Remix it to start from here.

Virtual try-on is the process of putting a garment onto the person in a video using only product photos. Instead of booking a model, a location and a shoot, you choose a style video — the model, the scene and the camera move all come from it — and upload the product; the AI dresses the person in it, and the clip comes back with the garment worn through every frame.

How it works

The model reads your product photos for the garment's shape, color, print and fabric, then fits it to the body in the scene. There are two ways to land it: Standard re-shoots the look — a fresh clip in the same scene and framing, the model wearing your product — while Pro swaps the garment onto the original footage frame by frame, so the existing motion, camera work and timing carry over exactly. Either way the output runs the full length of the style video.

What it's best at

  • Lookbooks and catalogue video — one product, several scenes, no shoot booked.
  • Ad variations — the same garment across different looks, each a finished clip.
  • Repeat drops — a new print or colorway on a model and scene you already like.
  • Design checks — see how a piece reads on a moving body before committing to production.

What a good input includes

Start with the style video, because it fixes what the garment cannot change: the model, the scene, the camera move and the light. Pick one with a single person clearly in view, the clothing unobstructed, a steady camera and even light. Then the product photos — up to three: front, back and a close-up of the print or texture, shot flat on a plain background in true color. The clearer the garment in the photos, the more faithfully it lands on the body.
