Is this logo background remover really free?

Yes. Every signed-in account gets 10 images a day at no cost, and the allowance resets every day — there is no card to add and no trial that runs out. Free runs come back as full-resolution transparent PNGs and can be used commercially. Credits only come into it if you want Pro's extra precision on a difficult logo, or need more than 10 images in one day. Which logo files can I upload?

JPEG, PNG, WEBP, up to 15 MB each. JPG and JPEG are the same format, so files ending in either extension work. A PNG that already has some transparency is fine too — the remaining background is removed and the existing alpha is kept. Anything over the size limit is turned away before it uploads, so you are never charged for a file that never ran.

What do I get back — is the logo resized?

A PNG with a real alpha channel, at exactly the pixel dimensions you uploaded. Nothing is downscaled, sharpened or re-cropped, so the file drops straight into a website header, a slide or a print layout at the size you already had. If the source was small or blurry, the result will be the same size and just as soft — upload the largest version of the logo you have.

My logo has white in it. Will the white parts be removed too?

The tool separates the logo from its background rather than deleting a colour, so white shapes that are clearly part of the mark — a white letter on a dark badge, a white highlight inside a symbol — normally stay. What can go wrong is white that touches the outer background with no edge between them, such as a white wordmark sitting directly on a white page: there is nothing to separate. In that case put the logo on a dark or coloured background first (a screenshot of it on a dark slide is enough) and run that. One more case to know about: a background-coloured window fully enclosed by a ring or badge is read as part of the emblem and kept — only the outside is removed.

Can I get an SVG or a vector file?

No — the output is a raster PNG, the same size as the input, with transparency. It is the right file for a website, a social post, a slide or a video overlay. If you need a scalable vector for print or signage, you need the logo's original design file or a tracing tool; removing the background does not turn pixels into curves.

Can I remove the background from several logos at once?

Yes — up to 10 images per batch, which suits a brand kit with a full-colour, a dark and a light version. Each logo is processed on its own and appears as its own result, so one difficult file never holds up the rest. Once two or more are finished you can take the whole set as a single zip instead of downloading them one at a time.

Are my logo files private, and how long are they kept?

Uploads and results live in your workspace and no other user can browse them. There is one exception, and it applies only to the free tier: we may pick a free-tier result and show it publicly — in our showcase, as an example on this page, or in marketing material — as set out in our terms. Anything you run on Pro is never published. Either way, results stay downloadable for 7 days on the free plan and up to 365 days on the highest subscription tier, after which they are deleted from storage.

What happens if a logo fails?

The credits for that image are returned to your balance automatically and the result card says so. You can retry the same file from the result card without uploading it again.

What is the difference between Free and Pro for logos?

The gap shows up on the finest details. Free costs nothing, covers 10 images a day (unlimited with a membership), and does well on clean, high-contrast logos — which is most of them. Pro cuts with more precision on hairline strokes, soft outer glows, drop shadows you want gone and marks whose colour sits close to the background; it costs 2 credits per image and has no daily cap. Both return a full-resolution PNG with alpha at the size you uploaded. If you are unsure, run the logo on Free first — finding out costs nothing.

Can I use the transparent logo commercially?

For your own logo, yes — on every tier including Free, for a website, packaging, merchandise or ads. What the tool cannot do is change who owns the mark: removing the background from someone else's logo does not give you the right to use it. Make sure you own the logo or have permission from the brand before you put the result anywhere public.
