Is this video upscaler really free?

Do I need an account?

You need to be signed in to run a video — that is what the daily free allowance is counted against. Signing in takes a few seconds with Google or an email code, with nothing to pay and no card to add.

Which files can I upload?

MP4, MOV, up to 200 MB each. Files over the limit are declined before upload, so you are never charged for a video that never ran.

How long can my video be?

Up to 60 seconds on paid tiers. The free tier covers up to 10 seconds — enough to try the quality on a real clip of yours.

Which mode should I pick?

Standard covers most footage, including AI-generated clips. Anime is tuned for animation and cartoons. Face recovers facial detail in old or heavily compressed footage. Denoise cleans up grain and low-light noise, and Sharpen combines denoising with edge sharpening for soft, blurry video.

Per second of source video, by output resolution and tier: Standard runs 2–7 credits per second, Pro 5–17. A 10-second clip at HD on Standard costs about 20 credits. The exact estimate is always shown before you submit, and failed runs refund automatically.

Are my videos private, and how long are they kept?

Uploads and results live in your workspace and no other user can browse them. One exception applies to the free tier only: we may pick a free-tier result and show it publicly, as set out in our terms. Results stay downloadable for 7 days on the free plan and up to 365 days on the highest subscription tier, then are deleted from storage.

What happens if an enhancement fails?

The credits for that video are returned to your balance automatically and the result card says so. You can retry the same video from the result card without uploading it again.
