Is this white background tool really free?

Yes. Every signed-in account gets 10 images a day at no cost, and the allowance resets every day — there is no card to add and no trial that runs out. Free runs come back as full-resolution white-background PNGs and can be used commercially. Credits only come into it if you want Pro's extra precision on a difficult photo, or need more than 10 images in one day. Upgrade to a membership — any subscription or credit pack — and Free becomes unlimited.

Do I need an account?

You need to be signed in to run an image — that is what the daily free allowance is counted against. Signing in takes a few seconds with Google or an email code, with nothing to pay and no card to add. You can drop images in and look around before you sign in.

Which file types can I upload?

JPEG, PNG, WEBP, up to 15 MB each. JPG and JPEG are the same format, so files ending in either extension work.

What do I get back — is it real pure white?

A PNG at exactly the pixel dimensions you uploaded, with the background filled as pure #FFFFFF white — not off-white and not a generated approximation, so the result matches marketplace and catalog requirements that call for a white backdrop. Nothing is downscaled or cropped.

Can I get a different background colour?

This page is dedicated to pure white, because that is what store listings, ID photos and catalogs ask for. Can I process several images at once?

Yes — up to 10 images per batch, which suits a whole product line in one go. Each image is processed on its own and appears as its own result, so one difficult photo never holds up the rest. Finished results can be downloaded together as a zip.

Are my images private, and how long are they kept?

Uploads and results live in your workspace and no other user can browse them. There is one exception, and it applies only to the free tier: we may pick a free-tier result and show it publicly — in our showcase, as an example on this page, or in marketing material — as set out in our terms. Anything you run on Pro is never published. Either way, results stay downloadable for 7 days on the free plan and up to 365 days on the highest subscription tier, after which they are deleted from storage.

What happens if an image fails?

The credits for that image are returned to your balance automatically and the result card says so. You can retry the same image from the result card without uploading it again.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

The gap shows up on hard edges. Free costs nothing, covers 10 images a day (unlimited with a membership), and does well on clean, well-lit subjects. Pro cuts with more precision — fine hair, fur and cluttered backgrounds hold together far more reliably before the white goes in — costs 2 credits per image, and has no daily cap. Both return the same full-resolution white-background PNG. If you are unsure, run the tricky image on Free first — finding out costs nothing.

Can I use the results commercially?

Yes. The white-background photos you make here are yours to use for store listings, ads, catalogs or anything else, on every tier including Free. The one thing we cannot grant is rights to the original photo — if you did not take it or license it, changing its background does not change that.

What this white background tool does

It finds the main subject in a photo — a product, a person, a pet — and returns the same image with everything behind it replaced by pure white (#FFFFFF). The cutout keeps the original resolution: nothing is resized or cropped, so the result drops straight into a store listing or a catalog template.

It is free to use, and what comes back is a full-resolution white-background PNG that you can use commercially. Reach for it when a marketplace asks for a white backdrop, when a whole catalog needs one consistent look, or when an ID photo needs a clean background.
