What resolution does the edited image come out at?

Up to 4K, depending on the model and the tier you pick. The edit is a full re-render, so the output is a clean file at the chosen resolution rather than a patched copy of your upload — pick the tier that matches where the image is going.

How much does an AI image edit cost?

Billing is per output image at the resolution you pick. Seedream 5.0 Pro runs 10 credits at 1K or 18 at 2K; the first reference image is included and each additional reference adds 1 credit. Lighter models start at 3 credits per edit. The exact estimate appears before you submit, and failed generations are refunded automatically.

Will the edit keep the rest of my photo intact?

Mostly, not perfectly. The model re-renders the whole image, so everything you did not mention is preserved in composition, subject and lighting — but it is a new render, not a masked patch, and fine details outside the edit can shift slightly. Name what must stay ("keep the face and the logo exactly as they are"), and for pixel-exact retouching, finish the file in a layer-based editor.
