Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Molyin ("Molyin", "we", "us") — an AI creation platform for generating videos and, over time, other kinds of media. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of this agreement.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Molyin, and at least 18 — or have a parent or guardian's consent — to make purchases. The service is not directed at, and is not offered to, users in mainland China.

2. The Service

Molyin turns your prompts and reference material into generated media using third-party AI models and infrastructure. The platform is evolving: models, creation modes, and features may be added, changed, or retired as the product grows. Where a change materially reduces something you have paid for, we will give you reasonable advance notice.

To keep the service stable and fair for everyone, we may apply or adjust rate limits, concurrency limits, and other usage controls at any time.

3. Your Account

You can sign in with Google or with your email address. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your sign-in method secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; accounts created to farm free credits or evade enforcement may be removed. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

4. Credits

Generation on Molyin is powered by credits. The cost of each generation depends on the model, resolution, and duration you choose, and is always shown before you submit. There are three kinds of credits, with different rules:

• Subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle. They reset every cycle — unused subscription credits do not roll over — and expire when your subscription ends. Annual plans receive their credits in monthly installments.
• Purchased credits (credit packs) never expire and remain in your account until spent.
• Bonus credits (such as the free credits granted at sign-up) never expire, but outputs created with them are licensed for personal use only (see Section 8) and they have no refund value.

• Credits are spent subscription-first, then from your purchased balance.
• If a generation fails, the credits it consumed are automatically returned to the balance they came from.
• Credit costs per generation may be adjusted from time to time — for example, when our underlying AI model providers change their pricing. Changes apply only to future generations, and the current cost is always shown before you submit.
• Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and can only be converted back to money under the conditions in our Refund Policy.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel, change plans, or update your payment method at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your benefits until then.
• Each account can hold one active subscription at a time.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change; existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any price change affecting them.
• By purchasing, you request immediate delivery of your credits. See the Refund Policy for what is and is not refundable.

6. Content Storage and Retention

Generated videos and uploaded reference material are stored for a limited time that depends on your current plan — 7 days on the free tier and entry subscription, 30 or 90 days on higher tiers, as listed on the pricing page. The retention window follows your current plan: upgrading extends it for all of your existing creations, and downgrading or cancelling shortens it.

When a creation's retention window ends, its files are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. You are responsible for downloading anything you want to keep. Your creation history (prompts and settings) remains available in your dashboard.

7. Your Content

You keep all rights to the prompts and reference material you submit. By submitting content, you:

• grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit it to our AI infrastructure providers, solely to operate the service and produce your requested output;
• confirm that you own it or have all rights needed to use it — including the consent of any real person whose image or voice it contains.

We will not use your content to train AI models, and we will not feature your creations publicly (for example, in our showcase) without asking for your explicit consent first. If you send us feedback or suggestions about the product, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

8. Generated Output

Subject to these Terms and to payment of the applicable credits, we assign to you all right, title, and interest we may have in the outputs you generate. The scope of use depends on the credits that paid for the generation:

• Paid credits (subscription or purchased packs): you may use the output for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.
• Free bonus credits: you may use the output for personal, non-commercial purposes only. To use it commercially, generate it with paid credits.

Generative AI has inherent limits you accept by using the service: outputs may be inaccurate or unexpected, similar outputs may be produced for other users from similar inputs, and the extent to which AI-generated works are protected by copyright varies by jurisdiction — we make no guarantee in that regard.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not use Molyin to create, upload, or distribute content that:

• uses a real person's likeness, image, or voice without their documented consent — including uploading photos or videos of someone else as reference material;
• impersonates a real person or presents generated media as authentic footage in order to deceive (deepfakes), including deceptive political or fraudulent content;
• sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors in any way — this results in immediate, permanent termination and reporting to the relevant authorities;
• infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights of third parties;
• is illegal, or promotes violence, harassment, or hatred against any person or group.

You also must not:

• probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or circumvent rate limits, credit accounting, or other technical controls;
• resell access to the service or systematically extract generation capacity for a competing service;
• use automation to farm bonus credits.

Generations pass through the safety filters of our AI providers, and a generation may be rejected by those filters. We may additionally remove content, refuse generations, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Credits spent on content that violates these rules are not refunded.

10. Third-Party Services

The service is built on third-party providers — AI infrastructure (such as Replicate and fal.ai), payment processing (Stripe), and cloud storage (Cloudflare). Your content is processed by AI providers under their own terms and safety policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

11. Termination

• By you: you may stop using the service or delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deleting your account permanently removes your data and creations (see the Privacy Policy) and forfeits any remaining credits, except where a refund applies under the Refund Policy.
• By us: we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with credits forfeited where the termination is for a violation. We may also temporarily suspend an account while we investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or activity that puts the service or other users at risk. And we may discontinue the service itself; if we do, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused, paid portion of your credits and subscriptions.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any particular generation will succeed (failed generations refund their credits), or that outputs will be fit for any particular purpose.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Molyin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights in your place of residence.

14. Indemnification

If a third party brings a claim against us arising from your content or your violation of these Terms — for example, use of someone's likeness without consent — you agree to indemnify us against the resulting costs and damages.

15. General

• Changes to these Terms: we may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
• Disputes: contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly and informally. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing formal proceedings.
• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Molyin.
